Curriculum

Saint Pius X offers a fully accredited Pre-K through 8th Grade Catholic education, and features active parent groups, a dedicated faculty and a strong parish community. It is recognized by the United States Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School, an award that honors public and private K-12 schools that are either academically superior in their states or that demonstrate dramatic gains in student achievement. (To see more, visit the U.S. Department of Education’s website here.)

The school also boasts a Synergistic Lab, a program developed to help middle school students explore and practice industrial arts. At Saint Pius X, students learn how to write and record a radio broadcast, build bridges and towers that can then be strength tested, craft and test their own model gliders, create circuit boards and run experiments with electricity, and even construct their own simple robots.  For a more complete view of the Synergistic Lab and what it can offer for your student, please click here.

The faculty and administration features educators with Master's or Bachelor's degrees  from universities such as the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, Northeastern State University, University of Tulsa and the University of Notre Dame.  Beyond this, all are faith filled individuals who stress to all students the importance of an active faith life within a Catholic context.

As do all Catholic diocesan schools, Saint Pius X School adheres to the diocesan mandated curriculum which offers courses in Mathematics, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies, Religion, Technology, Spanish, Music and Art. Below you can follow links to see exactly what the expectations and outcomes of this curriculum are; it was designed to meet and exceed all state standards of primary schools as well as the standards and expectations of Bishop Kelley High School.  For more information or to request a written copy, please contact our school office at 918.627.5367 or email us here.
